A wall of sea smoke hovered over Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota on Sunday, creating a captivating sight.

Temperatures at Duluth harbor hit 18 below zero on Sunday, according to the Duluth News Tribune.

According to AccuWeather, sea smoke is a marine layer that occurs when the water temperature is warmer than the frigid temperature of the air above it.
