7 On Your Side: Scam artists work quickly in times of disaster

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Scam artists work like clockwork. Whenever there's a disaster, you can expect scammers to move in and take advantage of the unsuspecting.

So far, the federal government has not offered any assistance to individual homeowners, but that won't stop some crooks from posing as federal aid workers.
