2 bicyclists hit by Daly City police car; 1 taken to hospital in serious condition, officials say

DALY CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- Two bicyclists were hit by a Daly City police car Monday afternoon, sending one of the cyclists to the hospital in serious condition, according to San Francisco Fire officials.

They say the accident happened just before 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Velasco Avenue and Accaia Street.

Authorities say one of the bicyclists was taken to the hospital in serious condition and the other is being evaluated.
