ANTIOCH, Calif. (KGO) -- Contra Costa County Fire Protection District officials confirmed they responded to an incident at Antioch High School involving five patients who were exposed to mace Friday afternoon.

Fire officials say the incident was first reported around 1:45 p.m.

Officials said they treated five patients in total and reportedly transported three to the hospital.

No additional information about the circumstances of the incident or the condition of those affected was immediately available.
