BART equipment problem in San Leandro impacts service, causes delays

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. -- A trackside equipment problem near Bay Fair station in San Leandro forced BART to suspend Green Line service between Daly City and Berryessa stations early Thursday morning, causing major delays for morning commuters.

As of 6:30 a.m., Green Line service has resumed.

BART says that service has also resumed between South Hayward, San Leandro, and Castro Valley stations, but to expect major delays in all directions on the Berryessa and Dublin/Pleasanton Lines.
