Good Samaritan Hospital is hosting 12th annual breast symposium

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- It is October, which means it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And next Thursday, October 29, you can join health experts for an open conversation about breast health and the latest advances in care. Good Samaritan Hospital is hosting its 12th annual Breast Symposium at the Toll House Hotel in Los Gatos.

It starts at 5:30 p.m., and you'll be able to hear from specialists about cancer risk prevention, personalized screening, treatment options and more. Joining ABC7 on Midday Live to talk more about it is Dr. Hirra Ali, MD, Medical Director of Breast Oncology.
