Healdsburg stops selling cigarettes to those under age 21

HEALDSBURG, Calif. (KGO) -- Healdsburg is now the first city in California to stop selling cigarettes to anyone under the age of 21.

The ordinance took effect at midnight, July 1, 2015.

Healdsburg's former mayor, who now serves in the state assembly, has co-sponsored a bill to take the ordinance statewide.
