
SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KGO) -- Police are searching for the driver of a lifted pick-up truck who hit and killed a man in a wheelchair who was crossing the street in Santa Rosa on Monday.
The collision happened on West College Avenue near Clover Drive at 2:45 p.m., authorities said.
The victim was crossing the street when they were struck by a white pick-up truck. Police say it appears to be a GMC.
The driver did not stop, police said.
Police say this is now being investigated as a felony hit-and-run case.
Officers are asking for the public's help to find that driver who left the scene.
The victim has not been identified pending next of kin.
