MORGAN HILL -- A camp counselor in Morgan Hill arrested twice on suspicion of the sexual assault of children has been arrested again on suspicion of the same crime, police said Wednesday.

The 25-year-old from Gilroy was first taken into custody on July 9 for alleged lewd and lascivious acts on a 10-year-old child and then again on July 16 regarding another 10-year-old child. He posted bail and was released from jail in both instances.

During their investigation, detectives later learned of a third 10-year-old child allegedly assaulted by the suspect on the same day as the other two children. He was arrested on Monday but was released after posting bail.

The man allegedly sexually assaulted the children at a field trip to the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center when he was working as a YMCA Summer Day Camp counselor, according to police.
