The throwbacks were well-represented in Week 6 of the NFL slate. While that's still the case this week, it's the alternates that lead the way -- including two monochromatic looks from the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions.
Houston will be wearing its "battle red" combination, which the team first unveiled in 2024. It's all red from head to toe complete with a similarly colored matte lid that includes a new bullhorn logo. The numbers are deep steel blue with a liberty white trim, while the red pants boast blue and white stripes. TheNew York Giants will counter with all-white.
Also unveiled in 2024, the Lions are rocking their all-black threads against the Green Bay Packers. The black jersey and pants include a Honolulu Blue matte helmet with leaping Lions logo in silver. There's also a black stripe across the middle. Detroit first wore black uniforms in 1948 before bringing it back in 2005 as an alternate. The team stopped wearing them after the 2007 season before returning it in 2024.
The Dallas Cowboys will don their color rush look against the Philadelphia Eagles on "Monday Night Football." Dallas unveiled these threads in 2015 with a silver helmet before an arctic white one debuted in 2022. The all-white combination has navy blue numbers and on the shoulder for a neat look.
Though alternates are the headliners, fans of the classics aren't leaving empty handed either in Week 7.
The Seattle Seahawks are wearing their throwbacks from the 1990s, complete with royal blue jerseys and silver pants and helmet. Seattle wore them last week on "Thursday Night Football." For the first time this season, the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets are rocking classic uniforms. New York's is appropriately named "The Classic," and the all-white look pays homage to the 1968 championship season. It also includes uniform details from 1998 to 2018. Atlanta's threads include its iconic red helmet, which dates back to the 1960s, with black jerseys and white pants.
The first NFL game in Paris brings a first in the uniform department for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh will rock their traditional white jerseys, but with color rush black pants, creating a combination never seen before for the franchise. The Steelers typically wear gold pants home or away. But, it will be a different look against the New Orleans Saints.
Here's a look at the Week 7 uniforms for all NFL teams, excluding the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Commanders, who are on a bye.
