YOUNTVILLE, Calif. -- Charges have been filed against the husband of House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi following a hit-and-run in Yountville earlier this month.

The parked car was severely damaged by the collision, according to the Napa County Sheriff's Office. The convertible was found soon after partially blocking Yountville Cross Road. Pelosi was not found to be driving under the influence.

Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley announced Friday that Pelosi faces a misdemeanor charge for failing to stop and provide information after a collision that results in property damage. Haley said Pelosi was additionally charged with the infraction of making an unlawful turn.

Pelosi previously pleaded guilty to driving under the influence causing injury in Napa County in 2023.
