'Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol' special premieres this Thanksgiving on Disney Channel

This holiday season will be a blast. The elves are back and delivering the ultimate gift with "Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol." The new animated Christmas special will reach fans on Disney+, Disney Channel, ABC and Freeform.

In a first look teaser, Christmas elves Lanny (Derek Richardson) and Wayne's (Dave Foley) holiday mission goes wrong, leading Wayne to think he's in hot water with Santa. Also joining the hijinks is the North Pole Christmas Eve Command Center Coordinator Magee (Sarah Chalke), who brings along her pet arctic seal pup Nog to the office.

Manny Jacinto joins as Renato, the North Pole's massage therapist and holistic healer. Dulcé Sloan, Danny Pudi and Christopher Swindle round out the cast.

"Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol" is the fourth installment in the franchise. Previous specials "Prep & Landing," "Prep & Landing: Operation: Secret Santa" and "Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice" are available on Disney+.

"Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol," produced by Disney Television Animation, part of Disney Branded Television, premieres Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, on Disney Channel at 7:00 p.m. EST/PST, and will be available the next day on Disney+. Later in the season, the elves will make their way to ABC and then to Freeform's iconic "25 Days of Christmas" holiday programming.
