SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The San Francisco Outer Sunset District home where a landlord allegedly murdered his tenant is now up for rent.

Eric Bigone was 58 years old when prosecutors say his landlord shot and killed him outside the home in May.

They allege retired dentist Philippe Chagniot first set fire to Bignoe's car, then shot him twice from behind.

The victim's son claims in a lawsuit his dad was killed to clear the home so it could be sold.

A judge is blocking any sale while the case plays out, but now Chagniot's family is trying to rent it out for $6,300 a month.

Before his murder, Eric Bigone was paying $3,200 a month in rent.

The broker says renters are told about the death in the lease.
