The new trailer teases Peter Parker's strange transformation and a Hulk showdown ahead of the film's July 31 release

LOS ANGELES -- It's a brand-new day for Spider-Man fans! A new trailer has arrived, teasing the challenges Peter Parker faces in his latest adventure.
The footage opens with Spidey battling Mac Gargan, better known as Scorpion, played by Michael Mando, who first appeared in 2017's "Spider-Man: Homecoming."
Something is clearly off with Peter as his eyes are completely blacked out and he seems far more aggressive than usual.
Things take a stranger turn when his web-shooters malfunction and he discovers organic webbing emerging from his wrists.
Searching for answers, Peter turns to Bruce Banner and even seeks Jon Bernthal's Punisher for help.
The trailer closes on a cliffhanger as Banner hulks out and attacks Peter from atop a high-rise building.
Sadie Sink also stars in an undisclosed role alongside Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tramell Tillman and Mark Ruffalo.
"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" premieres in theaters July 31.
