Suspect in custody after water rescue in SF Bay following alleged stabbing, authorities say
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Two people have been hospitalized after a suspect allegedly stabbed a person in San Francisco's Marina District and fled, eventually needing to be rescued from bay waters on Saturday, authorities said.
Officers responded to a reported stabbing on the 100 block of Yacht Road around 11:13 a.m. and said that one individual was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
San Francisco Police Department said during the investigation, the suspect was located and taken into custody by SFPD's Marine Unit. Their identity was not released.

San Francisco Fire Department said a person was rescued after allegedly fleeing into the water at Baker Beach just after noon.
Multiple agencies responded to the incident, which was related to reports of an individual associated with an earlier crime.
The person was safely removed from the water by police officers and transported to a trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to SFFD.
