Man escapes handcuffs, attacks deputy shortly after being sentenced for assault in Ohio

Dramatic video shows an Ohio man break out of his handcuffs and assault a deputy.

The Timothy Reaggle, 20, has just been sentenced for assault and failure to comply with the order of a police officer when the attack happened.

Video shows the 20-year-old bulldoze his way through another deputy while making his escape, scooting violently down the courthouse stairwell right into the arms of another deputy.

Again evading their defenses, he makes a break for the front door when he's tased and brought down just before reaching the outside.

Reinforcements arrive, and reaggle is taken back into custody.

The first deputy suffered a bloody lip, and another man who was there on an unrelated matter sprang into action to assist the deputy.

"I rushed over to the sheriff to make sure he was OK because it was a pretty hard hit. I was very concerned for the officer and, you know, I just tried to think fast and make sure he was OK. I don't know what to think," witness Leland Monte said.

Two deputies were taken to the hospital and have since been released.

Reaggle is now facing even more assault charges now.
