

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The NBA announced some of the marquee matchups for the season Tuesday morning, including the season opener and Christmas Day games.
The Dubs will open their season on Wednesday, October 21st, in Los Angeles against the Lakers. It'll be broadcast on our sister station ESPN.
It's the second straight year they've opened at the Lakers; however, this year, LeBron James will no longer be there after moving to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Meanwhile, LeBron and the Sixers will be playing NBA champion Knicks at Madison Square Garden on opening night, Tuesday, October 20.
The Warriors will also play their 14th straight Christmas Day game against the Nuggets at Chase Center on ABC7.
