LOS ANGELES -- The co-CEO of Waymo posted a video on social media showing one of the company's driverless taxis avoiding a recent crash on a busy freeway in Los Angeles.
Dmitri Dolgov shared video of a crash on the 10 Freeway that he says was caused by street racing.
Footage shows an out-of-control car crashing into a freeway wall and then coming to a stop in the middle of the road, directly in the path of the approaching Waymo vehicle.

The Waymo vehicle is then seen maneuvering around the disabled car, avoiding a collision.
Dolgov said the Waymo car detected the situation early and "maneuvered defensively to safely bypass the scene" after the crash.
