NEW YORK -- The cast of Hulu’s legal drama “All’s Fair” gathered in New York City this week to celebrate the premiere of the show’s second season, offering hints about what viewers can expect as the series returns.
Executive producer Ryan Murphy’s series follows a team of high-powered divorce attorneys and stars Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts and Teyana Taylor.
Speaking with entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo on the red carpet, cast members reflected on their experience working together.
Asked what she would forever cherish about her time on the show, Taylor said, “Oh my god, the sisterhood.”
Kardashian added, “Which just makes it so much fun. You know, you're gonna just laugh all day.”
Taylor said, “And when it's time for girl talk, it's time for the tears. It's time for the chatters. It's time for all of the things.”
The cast also teased new conflicts and shifting relationships in the upcoming season.
Asked whether she was entering the season with “a secret, with an agenda, a grudge,” Watts replied, “All of the above.”
Nash-Betts said, “Well, let me just say this, everybody is not who they claim to be.”
Kardashian described her character's mindset as “scared energy” and “confused at why everyone is turning all my friends around me.”
Paulson hinted at instability among the show's characters, saying, “All new alliances that once seemed to hold the fabric of the thing up is starting to crumble.”
Close added, “It starts in one way, and then it just explode.”
During the interview, Kardashian also reflected on her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian, when Garguilo noted that both of their fathers were trial attorneys.
“I think he would love it,” Kardashian said. “He would get a kick out of the show and everything that we were doing. When I do study and I think about it, he would have been my best study buddy and totally cheering me on. He would have got a kick out of this big life.”
Season 2 of “All’s Fair” promises more secrets, shifting alliances and interpersonal drama as the legal series returns with its ensemble cast.
"All's Fair" Season 2 premiered Nov. 4 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+, with new episodes streaming every Wednesday.
