Beams from truck load smash through truck in California, officials say
WESTMINSTER, Calif. -- Unbelievable photos show beams that crashed all the way through a truck in Westminster on Wednesday morning.
California Highway Patrol shared photos of the crash, which happened on the 405 Freeway.
The beams came off what appears to be a work truck with a rack and smashed right through the back of a pickup truck.
The photos show where the beams pierced the driver's side, just above the steering wheel.

Miraculously, only minor injuries were reported.
CHP shared the photos of the crash as a reminder for drivers to secure their loads.
"Before hitting the road, make sure your load is properly secured, tied down, not overloaded, and safe for travel. A few extra minutes of preparation can prevent a serious crash and save lives," CHP Westminster wrote in a post on social media.
