Former Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger was honored as the 2026 PAC NYC Icon of Culture.
Iger, one of Disney's longest-serving chief executives, was recognized for his decades-long influence on TV, film, sports, news and philanthropy.
Some of his closed ABC colleagues were on hand for the celebration.
"I am overcome with gratitude tonight. Gratitude for this incredible opportunity that I've been given over the years, to work for a company like Disney for 52 years, and have the chance to really bring happiness to the world has been extraordinary," Iger said.
The Perelman Performing Arts Center is a performing arts center built as part of the World Trade Center's post-9/11 development.
Its mission is to be a home for emerging and established artists in theater, dance, music and opera.
