Takeaway of the Day
Coastal flooding continues to be a major concern for the Bay Area. Our Coastal Flood Advisory has been extended to 5 p.m. Friday, as unusually high tides are causing localized flooding near the bay shorelines of San Pablo Bay and San Francisco Bay, as well as along the Pacific coastline. Meanwhile, we had lovely weather today, with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid-60s at the coast, upper 60s near the bay, and a few lower 70s inland.
A Look Ahead
Tomorrow will be another mostly sunny and mild day, with afternoon highs mainly in the lower 60s at the coast, mid-60s around the bay shoreline, and upper 60s to around 70 inland. The remainder of the week will bring us gradual cooling along with increasing clouds, and there is a slight -- but diminishing -- chance of showers from late Friday into the weekend. And remember the Coastal Flood Advisory has now been extended to 5 p.m. Friday.
