Dryden Quigley

Before coming to San Francisco, she worked at WSMV in Nashville, Tennessee. She was one of the first on the scene at the deadly Antioch High School shooting in Nashville and has covered multiple devastating tornadoes in the Midstate region. Her stories have ranged from high-profile court trials to (literal) cow thefts. While in Music City, she was involved in entertainment coverage, including the BMI Country Music awards, CMA Fest,100 years of the Grand Ole Opry, and movie premieres.
Dryden got her start on-air in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she was the weekend anchor, reporter, and occasionally filled in on weather. Her notable coverage there includes the trial for the organizers of the 'Unite the Right' rally, the deadly shooting of three University of Virginia football players, and a historic snowstorm.
Her dynamic live shots during a flood earned her an Emmy nomination in 2025. She was also honored by the Virginia Associated Press Broadcasters for Best One-person Band Reporter and Best Old Dominion Heritage in 2023 and Best Team News Coverage in 2022.
Dryden graduated from Duke University with her B.A in International Relations. Go, Blue Devils! She worked for the 9th Street Journal, where she received recognition from the state for her work in uncovering a COVID death in the Durham jail. She also served as the 'Duke correspondent' for UNC's Carolina Week. Right after college, she was a news production assistant at WRAL, where she discovered her love for broadcast news.
Dryden is originally from Westchester, New York, but is excited to find out if the West Coast really is the best coast.
In her free time, Dryden likes to travel, try new food, listen to live music, and cheer on the New York Rangers! She's ready to take advantage of the Bay Area weather by hiking or playing tennis, maybe even pickleball.
