Confirmed mountain lion sighting in San Francisco's Outer Sunset District

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A mountain lion has been spotted in San Francisco's Outer Sunset District Friday morning.
The animal was seen near Ulloa Street and 44th Avenue, which is not far from the ocean, around 7:30 a.m. and officials were dispatched.

San Francisco Animal Care and Control confirmed that they have eyes on the mountain lion.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is on the way to the area.
This is the second mountain lion sighting in San Francisco in two weeks. There were several reports of one perched in a tree in the Panhandle on Saturday, September 5. It's unclear if it's the same cat.
