DAPHNE, Ala. -- Brothers Bo, Coley and Pat White grew up loving sports from a young age. It's no surprise that together, they co-own Blueprint Performance, a performance-based training gym uplifting the next generation of athletes in Daphne, Alabama.
"My dad got me into football when I was eight. He had us in all sports, but football was the one sport we stuck with," Bo explains. "When they put on their masks, put on their helmets, you get to turn into someone different, and I think that's what was exciting for me about it."
As young adults, all three brothers ended up at West Virginia University; Pat and Coley both played for WVU's acclaimed Mountaineers. Bo completed his undergraduate degree at West Liberty State College before heading to WVU for a master's degree with a concentration in Athletic Coaching Education. At WVU Bo also connected with the Mountaineers in his role as Graduate Assistant for the team.
In 2014 after finishing college, it was Coley who first developed the idea for Blueprint Performance. He launched the business with the goal of helping young athletes mentally and physically prepare for university-level athletics and develop the skills they need to thrive.
By 2015, demand for Blueprint Performance was so high that Coley brought his brothers Pat and Bo into the fold, each of whom brought their own unique expertise to the business.
"Our middle brother Pat made it to the highest level. He was drafted in the NFL and Major League Baseball," Bo says. "I've coached on a college level. We've all three played college football. Between the three of us, there's a lot of knowledge."
In 2018, the trio officially opened their training facility in Daphne and the business expanded from just helping young athletes to supporting any person of any age, with any type of fitness experience or goals. While football may be their first love, the White brothers have remained committed to training athletes across all different sports including basketball, baseball, soccer and more.
Over the last 10 years of Blueprint Performance, Bo, Coley and Pat have been able to train athletes from childhood all the way through young adulthood and even support them through the process of being recruited by colleges and universities nationwide, an experience they've described as extraordinarily rewarding.
"To see a kid achieve [their] goals is one of the best feelings. There's no other feeling like that. It means the world to them. It means everything to us," says Coley.
